South Asian Arts Group (SAAG) aims at organising an annual event drawing a mix of PhD students, established scholars, curators, artists, library and archive professionals at a different location in the UK each year. An events organising group has been formed to organise the annual SAAG event.
SAAG is also collaborating with various other organisations for other South Asian arts events throughout the year. The first in the pipeline being a symposium on South Asian floor-drawings and murals, ‘From Floor to Ceiling‘, in collaboration with CREAM, University of Westminster.
